Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight:
  • Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and onsite staff.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures.
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of construction equipment.
  • Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project participants.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, schedules, and cost reports.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or a related role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or similar are a plus.
