SGL Business Services is located at Lavradio/Lisbon and is offering an exciting opportunity as an Your opportunity: Responsible for all accounting work necessary to insure accounts payable are processed in a timely and efficient mannerVerify amount, payment terms and sales taxEnsure that down payments and invoices are coded to the correct general ledger codesWork with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, ensure cash discounts and/or confirm payment of outstanding invoicesTravel Expenses records, analysis and reconciliation, including support to documentation and knowledge consolidation and related taxesSupport, control and perform to the Intercompany processClose interaction with Shared Service Center in GermanyWork to drive process improvements in other accounting operation functions as assignedCollaboration with global Production Sites and Corporate Functions Your profile: University degree in Management, Accounting or Finance, with some knowledge in accounting or relevant work experience compatible with the function (2-5 years)
Shared Service Center experience would be a plusNative or fluent:
English and German (mandatory)
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelinessAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to interact with employees and vendors in a professional mannerPassionate for a growing team and teamworkOpen-minded for new IT applicationsExperience in SAP is preferredWhat we offer:
