ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this role, you combine the two worlds of strategic sourcing and intelligent routing. As Head, you bring the leadership skills and experience necessary to steer this team of knowledgeable experts.

Your team is responsible for executing the procurement process for A2P messaging services, sourcing strategic partners that give us a competitive advantage.

In combination with routing, commercial models are created that are technically implemented to find the perfect combination of quality and cost.

Routing is the company's driving force in the A2P SMS area and never stands still.

Being responsible for thousands of route combinations and billions of transactions, constant optimization of the live system not only requires a cool head, but also a lot of experience.

Analytical thinking and a certain mathematical passion are required along with keen management abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Final responsibility for routing decisionsFinal responsibility for commercial decisions in sourcingBuilding and leading a team of experts from the industryOngoing cost saving in sourcing as well as ongoing optimization in routingContract reviews and preparation of business cases for management approvalQuality assurance and documentation of work processesMaximize gross profit growth through optimization of buying costsAccurate reports and evaluationsParticipation in industry-relevant events and customer meetings

ABOUT YOU:

You have been working in the A2P SMS industry for a long time and have several years of experience in routing and sourcing.

You think analytically and manage to lead a team. For this management role, you have personal responsibility and the ability to make decisions that make an impact.

You have the courage to build a team and have no reservations when it comes to new software solutions or technologies.

You always make commercially smart decisions in the interests of the company.
YOU'

LL BRING:
6+ years experience in routing and/or sourcing in the A2P industryA well-rounded in-depth knowledge of A2P SMS servicesExperience working with mobile operators and aggregatorsMotivation & understanding for product developments such as RCS, WhatsAppStrong technical understanding in the application of smpp, http and SS7Leadership skills that enable you to lead a teamSkilled in negotiating terms and special dealsExperience with routing logic on various SMS platformsEnhanced ability to achieve commercial advantage through routing decisionsKnowledge of what is needed to enable global SMS services on a global scaleFluent English skills
