What you'll do:

As a People Manager, you will make sure to bring out the best of our talented Tech team.

On a more practical level, from having bilaterals on career progression to gathering feedback about the performance of your team, to promoting Learning & Development initiatives, you are THE go-to person on people-related matters.

You will work closely with Engineering Managers, HR and Recruitment.

You will:

  • Work in close collaboration with Engineering Managers, Project Managers and Tech Leads to help them out in all people activities and aligning directly on HR practices;
  • Be the first point of contact for guidance around HR processes like performance management, training;
  • Manage the performance management cycle for a group of software engineers;
  • Actively participate in support across key areas such as onboarding, training, performance management and employee engagement.
  • Nurture a welcoming, safe, and inspiring work environment and onboarding process that stimulates engineers to shine and grow, both on a professional and personal development level;
  • Inspire knowledge sharing through planning and facilitating internal and external webinars, workshops, and other knowledge sharing activities;
  • Professionalize learning and career paths to clarify expectations across seniorities;
  • Resolve and coordinate complex employee relations issues and address grievances.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as Business Manager, Talent Manager etc;
  • Strong, proven experience in people management and career guiding of software engineers;
  • A people person with excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus), both written and and verbal;
  • Experience in IT/Tech international environment is mandatory;
  • Selfstarter, proactive attitude and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

Recruitment process:

  • Video introduction call with a Recruiter;
  • Onsite interview with Managing Director and People Lead in our office in Campo Pequeno;
  • Final 30 min video call with Engineering Managers.
