What you will learn and contribute to

To process accounting transactions and reporting in accordance with process design, concept and service levels defined in the Service Description,
control and monitor AP related tasks on daily basis, coordinate resolution and provide high quality service to all customers.

She/he also focuses on process improvement, documentation and other assigned tasks, in order to improve the work efficiency and standardize the process.

Scope

Individual Contributor - a new role in Payable sub service of controlling and continuously executing tax code corrections (errors occurring due to upstream input data incorrectness and reported by EY) on touchless posted invoices due to strengthened EUR regulatory requirements set out in EU country VAT legislation.

Impact
Elimination/reduction of incorrect invoice postings can be achieved, which lead Nokia not being able to deduct VAT.

Higher invoice posting quality results less effort in invoice review, less effort in accounting follow-up and in incorrect invoice correction.

Key Tasks

• Control/monitor/correct detected errors in the invoice processing area
• Identify and log upstream root causes
• Initiate systematic preventive and detective solution/fixes in CI mode
• Ensure EU VAT compliance on semi or autoprocessed supplier invoices and to avoid tax penalties
• Ensure that E2E tax compliance is fulfilled
• Cooredinate the multiple party efforts and actions on well organized way

- _Communicate the process changes, monitor fixes, implementations and follow-up remediation actions_

Your skills and experience

• Appropriate education in Accounting & Finance
• AP process knowledge is strongly preferred
• 68 years of relevant work experience in financial accounting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill
• Strong coordination skill with multiple parties
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Fluency in English (both written and oral)
• Team work spirit with a cando attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Nokia internal tools knowledge is preferred
