EDP Innovation called Innovation Intel, which mission is to strengthen
EDP's innovation strategy definition and monitoring through critical thinking, market knowledge amplification, opportunities identification and intelligence insights.

We ́re aiming to recruit an Innovation Intel Specialist:

Job Description:

  • Support the development of the innovation strategy of
    EDP;
  • Structure info & translate it into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Act as focal point for
    EDP's innovation strategy
  • Identify needs and business opportunities with BUs and Innovation Expertise;
  • Actively scout for new emerging opportunities through market trends, insights, knowledge (e

g:
ventures, start-up engagement);

  • Conduct market research to analyze market trends, opportunities and competitive landscape to identify key players/partners;
  • Screen new opportunities to determine emerging technology landscape and coherence to
    EDP business;
  • Identify business and or innovation driven potential partnerships;

What we are looking for:

  • Degree / Master in Engineering, Management or Economics;
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in strategic consulting, strategy/innovation teams or similar roles, ideally with energy experience;
  • Ability to distil relevant information and convert them into meaningful insights to be channeled into the organization (from analysis to synthesis);
  • Experience in linking diverse and senior stakeholders internal and external;
  • Strong critical thinking & communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities;
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically;
  • Ability to perform market and technology landscape and segmentation;
  • Collaboration tools: Excel and power point;
  • Knowledge of Innovation methodologies;
  • Team spirit;
  • Portuguese and English (fluent);
