Responsibilities - your mission

The Connect & Engage Employees team (GH) with its focus on Internal Communications is accountable for protecting and promoting the Airbus brand and supporting the company's top communications objectives by engaging with employees.

The team is organised according to the company's structure (Commercial Aircraft & Corporate, Helicopters, Defence and Space).

The position is operationally linked to the Commercial Aircraft & Corporate team (GHA) but provides service to the entire Connect & Engage Employees Community.

The position is split into two roles / main activities _: _

The role of Hub Publisher takes care of most Hub news publications in all Hub languages.

• The publication process includes the decision making process with the Editor in Chief about the right news template and image, the launch and followup of translation (or performing direct translation with DeeplPro for nonsensitive texts), the launch and followup of proofreading, the publication of the Hub news and final check of channel outlets (desktop, mobile responsive and mobile app and also Apple TV)

The process might include basic image editing.

• The Hub Publisher might have to manually create the Airbus TV publication.
• The Hub Publisher supports the GH Performance Management by providing statistics per Hub publication to the Editor in Chief and responsible Comms Advisor or Project Leaders.
• Together with the Internal Comms Strategist and Editors in Chief, Hub templates are regularly reviewed and eventually adapted to keep them relevant and impactful.
• The Hub Publisher supports the GH Hub Site Owners in the maintenance and performance management to those respective Hub Sites.

The role of Distribution List Manager takes care about the management of mass mail distribution lists.

• The Distribution List (DL) process includes the regular maintenance of standard DLs and also the creation of adhoc DLs.
• For adhoc DLs, the position holder works closely with the respective Comms Advisor or Internal Comms Professional, the HR Data and IM DL team.
• The Distribution List Manager performs quality checks to ensure that the requested audience is correctly embedded in the DL.
• Together with the GH Mass Mail Process Owner and evtl. the HR and Affiliates Team, DLs are regularly checked to ensure that standard DLs follow evtl. changes in Airbus organisational structure and setup.
• English: fluent; language skills of one or more other founding countries are beneficial (FR/ES/DE).
• Computer Skills: high proficiency required main tools are Google Workspace, Lumapps CMS (Hub) and Piskel CMS (Airbus TV). For image processing/editing Adobe Photoshop is used.
• Autonomy, reliability, openness and directness are required to be able to work in a multiskilled team, spread across several sites in Europe.
• Structured, process driven, with eye for details is needed to ensure high quality of publications in an efficient manner.
• Adaptability and high reactiveness may be needed due to change of priorities (i.e. in terms of crisis or adhoc requests).
