We're looking for someone outstanding with experience working in building maintenance, to work on our office in Braga and available to travel to Porto and Lisbon when necessary. This Stronghold Blacksmith will be focused on the building operations of Braga office while also ensuring that our three offices (placed in prime locations of Porto, Braga and Lisbon, totalizing » 25000 square meters) are in flawless conservation conditions**, which requires:

  • Ensuring facilities maintenance planning and overseeing.
  • Supervising and coordinating daytoday facilities operations, services, and suppliers.
  • Monitor and coordinate the work carried out by service providers, ensure all necessary contact and standardized procedures.
  • Ensuring the facilities' essential assets are continuously working at their best conditions, including HVAC units, plumbing and water networks, and electrical and lighting systems.
  • Overseeing the facilities and ensuring the needed supplies and tools.
  • Making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable whilst they are at the office.
  • Collaborating with other internal areas to ensure that offices represent and promote the company culture and implement procedures that enable the organisational and regulatory policies.
  • Propose and monitor the implementation of preventive and corrective measures for facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations, internal regulations and good practices within the scope of the various areas of facility management.
  • Ensures every people has a consistent experience no matter the office where they go.
  • Promoting a positive and cooperative work environment.

Whatever you're working on, here's the lowdown on the technical skills you're likely to have:

  • Training and experience in the facility maintenance field in a corporate environment (experience in facility management is a plus).
  • Professional training in Occupational Health & Safety, minimum level VI (preferable).
  • Ability to solve problems without a manual and deal with unknown issues.
  • Datadriven and detailoriented profile. It's often the little things that add to a great workplace experience. No request is too small to be ignored.
  • Holistic mindset with strong planning skills to define and implement strategies. Able to deal with immediate everyday needs while keeping an eye on the future.
  • Good communication skills and collaborative mindset, able to break down silos across organisational areas.
  • A resilient personality to cope with difficult situations while remaining calm.
  • Knowledge about regulatory and legal policies related to the building ecosystem, from maintenance to health and safety.
  • Able to inspire, support and oversight a topgrade 360office administration team.
  • Proactive by acting without being told what to do and bringing new ideas to the company.
  • Fluency in English (German is a bonus).
