Team and challenge
For this role we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Team Lead to join our organization.

As a lead, you will be responsible for managing the team based in Portugal and guiding (4) talented DevOps Engineers towards achieving our organization's goals and objectives.


We are growing our services using all the major public clouds, migrating to Kubernetes for deployments globally and adding world-class monitoring to provide the most reliable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day to day activities of the team and serve as a goto resource for conflict resolution and escalation;
  • Drive operational excellence in everything you do; this includes creating processes, procedures, and automation to improve efficiency in our daytoday tasks and projects;
  • Design, create and deliver a highly available, flexible, low latency and secure cloud infrastructure;
  • Seek opportunities to introduce cuttingedge technology and automation solutions that are effective, efficient and scalable in order to improve our ability to deploy faster and reliably;
  • Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance;
  • Write automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at scale;

Requirements:

  • Proven management experience with Cloud or DevOps Engineering teams;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes based tooling;
  • Handson experience in building fault tolerant and scalable systems;
  • Experience with Unix/LinuxExperience with Cloud environments such as AWS or OCI;
  • Experience with infrastructure management
  • Terraform/Cloudformation;
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Ansible, CI/CD (Jenkins, GoCD);
  • Advanced scripting experience required (e.g. Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby, Go lang, Rust.).
