A Sales Executive analyses local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

What will I be doing? As Sales Executive, you will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leadsDevelop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streamsNegotiate room rates/packages with corporate clientsPrepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditionsWork within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunitiesCooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programsAttend Sales events/ sales trips, as requiredAttend charming events and site inspections as requiredAttend sales calls on a weekly basisProduce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Senior Sales Manager and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leadsConstantly prospect MICE/Corporate new businessIdentify new accounts as per market trendsIdentify citywide/ congresses and proactively seek the business according to the calendarAnswer customer queries in a prompt and professional mannerBuild and foster the relationship with MICE/ Corporate clientsWhat are we looking for?
