Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • The Senior Business Architect Supply Chain executes the translation of the SCM Business Strategy into Capability, Process & Data implications and requirements. This role drives Process & Data compliance, harmonization and standardization activities across the SCM Product Areas. This role is also responsible to execute the development of the future target architecture and cross-functional capability roadmaps. The role works closely with the Supply Chain Business, SCM Product Areas, Enterprise Architecture and Strategy & Programs PM's.

  • Identify & describe Business and Technologyenabled capability opportunities that enable and drive the SCM Business Strategy

the development activities for the SCM Target Architecture

  • Plan
Compliance, Harmonization & Standardization activities across SCM Product Areas (Capabilities, Processes & Data)

  • Support the build of future capability roadmaps across domains and product areas, in alignment with the SCM Business Strategy, Product Areas and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Support the SCM Demand Team on driving assessments of new demands against the SCM Strategy and Target Architecture
  • Plan
& Organize Capability, Process, Data & Tool trainings for the SCM Product Areas and SCM Business

  • Design & Build
  • Drive Compliance, Standardization & Harmonization activities (Capabilities, Processes & Data) across Product Areas based on global standards within SCM
  • Identify and address e2e Business Capability, Process & Data interdependencies and the potential challenges
  • Make dependencies visible within the Supply Chain, between Business Capabilities, Processes, Data, Solutions and Initiatives
  • Develop and utilize e2e Business Capability, Process & Data understanding and Tools knowledge
  • Represent SCM in cross domain functional system initiatives and drive e2e Process and Primary Data discussions
  • Have full understanding of specific SCM Capabilities, Processes & Data objects and govern the use of the respective tools to capture Capabilities, Processes & Data

  • Be accountable for monitoring and identify optimization potentials for Processes & Primary Data across Product Areas

  • Enterprise Architecture / Tech Domain Architects
  • SCM Business (Global Functions & Markets)
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes & primary data objects
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to use different business analysis methodologies in different situations
  • Experience in Business Process Management and/or Primary Data Management Domain
  • Demonstrating initiative and acting result oriented
  • Strategic, operational and project management experience
  • Good Team player
  • English fluent (written and oral), other languages
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • College or university degree with a focus on Supply Chain, Business Analysis or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years working experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Consumer goods industry (fast moving goods)
  • Of which 3 years Project Management experience in international teams
