we deliver agility by unlocking business value from enterprise data assets, optimising business data strategies and increasing competitiveness. We protect customers from security and regulatory risks with Enterprise Data Services, Data Governance and Regulatory Compliance services.

Digital Infrastructures and Multi-cloud: we help unlock new capabilities, increase agility, reduce total cost of ownership and accelerate innovation with proven approaches to assessment of existing customer infrastructures. We will help design secure, robust and responsive multicloud architectures, helping customers move to XaaS delivery models.

What you'll be doing


The Services Solutions Pre Sales Data Architect collaborates within a talented and experienced team, designing best-in-class data and digital infrastructure solutions that deliver value to customers with the opportunity to work on the most cutting-edge technology platforms and tools available.

What you bring to the team

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the team's strategy in conjunction with Sales
  • Act as a champion and thought leader on data and digital infrastructure engagements, leveraging digital best practices and methodologies (e.g. Agile/DevOps)
  • Continually assesses key customers and the market landscape for strategic opportunities collaborating with Services Sales
  • Actively participate in customer facing meetings, advising clients on innovation, strategy enablement, digital architectures and transformation roadmaps
  • Evangelize the Data Management aaS and Digital Infrastructure Services Offerings
  • Provide expert assistance through the various stages of the sales process including qualification, RFIs/RFPs, value proposition and business cases creation
  • Help to identify and develop new services in line with market needs and opportunities
  • Act as technical liaison between top customers, service delivery and service support teams.
  • Create SOW's for complex deals and makes sure delivery has agreed to the approach and signs it off
Required Skills & Experience

  • Engineering, Information Systems, IT or equivalent Master's degree
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as professional IT or in complex engagements at a Design Authority level
  • A proven Data Architect with a deep understanding of data structures and related programming languages
  • Highly proficient with a deep understanding of Digitial Infrastructure service offerings and solutions
  • Expertise in data manipulation: use of structured data tools (e.g., SQL), & unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL)
  • Experience with relational and nonrelational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
  • Familiarity with visualisation tools (e.g. Grafana, D3, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
  • Demonstrable experience with translating unstructured, complex business problems into practical, powerful data solutions
  • A passion for keeping up with the latest trends in data science and data engineering
  • Significant experience in scoping, resourcing and developing commercial and technical proposals
  • Experience in managing large client engagements and communicating up to Csuite executives
  • Experience of Agile and Waterfall Project Delivery frameworks
