As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage the administrative part of the purchase order and order confirmation process for all our European entities related to standard purchases, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the processes, and securing compliance, while providing accurate information and timely reporting.

In addition, you will be responsible for the contract and price negotiations for small volumes in order to contribute to the profitability of the company.


In your new role you will:

  • Convert
    Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders ;
  • Transmit
    Purchase Orders to external vendors ;
-
Ensure the quality of data in the Purchase Request and in the Purchase Order;
-
Ensure alignment with Infineon's Purchasing Processes , Guidelines and Working Instructions;

  • Cooperate and contribute to
    crossfunctional and crosssite teams and projects .


You have a self-driven working style and are willing to take responsibility, being able to work independently and structure your own work.

Your strong communication skills allow you to quickly establish successful cooperation within your team and with others. Furthermore, you have excellent analytical skills that support your attention to detail and focus on delivery.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A
    degree in Commerce or related apprenticeship with an understanding of technical requirements;
-
1 to 3 years of experience in Purchasing or in a function in which you use your
negotiation skills ;

  • Good understanding of
    principles and concepts of Purchasing ;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially
    Excel
  • SAP is an advantage;
-
Fluency in English - mandatory.
