  • The Operational Risk Management Officer GM challenges and supervises the Operational Risk & Permanent Control Framework in BNP Paribas CIB activities under Global Markets

Your Main Activities Are

  • Be responsible for Operational Risk and Permanent Control management framework for GM activities in Portugal location, including normative framework
  • Ensure contribution of RISK ORM GM to initiatives proposed and foster the contribution of the team to innovation
- identify and assess risks and controls, by ensuring consistency with risk appetite, roll out of RCSA and its independent Check & Challenge

  • Perform the quality review of His and share results with OPCs and management. Challenge the different aspects of significant incidents. Perform 2 LoD level control on reconciliation of His
  • Perform independent testing with the aim of enhancing the control framework. Propose testing's in relation with risks identified in RCSA
  • Accompany status of recommendations resulting from testing's and challenge 1 LoD on remediation's of outstanding recommendations
  • Participate and contribute to the governance in place for RISK ORM GB activities. Contribute to Operational Risk awareness across BNP Paribas CIB teams
  • Lead and coach team members in a complete manner with the objective of pursuing their best performance achievement

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master Degree in Finance
  • Between 2 and 4 years or relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations / Risk and Controls
  • Expertise in Global Markets
  • Fluent level of English, both oral and written are mandatory
