We are looking for a talented and dedicated technical enthusiast to join our "Corporate" technology organisation.It is a global team within TUI technology responsible for Finance, HR and other corporate solutions and services with a focus on SAP applications.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts across Architecture, Engineering, Application Support and Agile Delivery providing central services across various countries.
ABOUT THE JOB As a SAP Technology Consultant you are a practitioner and an advocate of state-of-the-art infrastructure services and SAP technology products, including awareness for audit and security requirements.
Working in an agile environment and keeping up with the ever-evolving technical landscape you are a lifelong learner and like to think outside the box.
You will drive the operation and maintenance of our SAP applications through the entire technology stack, starting with infrastructure services, the operating systems and databases, right up to the SAP applications.
You contribute your experience of secure and stable system operation and take an active part in upcoming projects of e.g.
system migrations to AWS or release upgrades to SAP S/4HANA. You represent our team as a strong partner to our stakeholders.Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of our SAP system landscapes, including the technology stack of:SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, ERP, Solution Manager, AS JavaHANA, DB2 and Oracle databasesRed Hat Enterprise LinuxProvide 2nd and 3rd level support in close cooperation with other support teamsEnsure the stable system operation and analyze performance issuesImplement security guidelines for the technology stack usedProactively assist in evaluation of new SAP solutions and technologiesPerform technical migrations to new SAP technologies e.g.
S/4HANAManage the Disaster Recovery (DR) process for the SAP systems including updating of the DR plan, periodic testing and activation in the event of an emergencyManage EC2 instances and other AWS workloads and servicesPrepare architectural design, technical specifications and other documentationAutomation of recurring tasks using script-based solutionsABOUT YOU Functional/TechnicalExcellent technical understanding of SAP administration with a minimum of 4 years of experienceSolid understanding of SAP maintenance and administration tools, including HANA Cockpit & Studio, SUM, SPAM & SAINT and SNOTEKnow-How in HANA and DB2 database supportExperienced handling of shell environments including basic Linux administrator skillsGood understanding in usage and mapping of on-premise infrastructure and cloud servicesBasic knowledge in AWS technologySocial
