A Snapshot of Your Day

To assist in the achievement of the Engineering Department's objectives by producing accurate models, drawings, BOM's, P&ID's and order processing within specified contract costs or development budgets, timescales, and appropriate quality standards.

How You'll Make an Impact
Ø Execute technical work packages.

Ø Checks all own work and selected work packages of others, as identified by senior staff.

Ø Contribute to the planning and reporting of projects and tasks.

Ø Interfaces with other local and Network Partners, as required. Input to customer and supplier interface issues, meetings and documentation.

Ø Contribute to quality and continuous improvement activities.

Ø Responsible for personal training and development with support from senior staff

Ø Provide technical input to Section Manager and other members of the Engineering team.

Ø Prepares and submits for approval 3D models, drawings, BOM's and P&ID's.

Ø Checks all work is suitable for the purpose and work has been carried out correctly, in line with valid rules, tools and procedures.

Ø Issue specifications, manufacturing data, design methods, technical advice only with the approval of the Section Manager or their nominees.

Ø Approve drawings and BOM's in agreement with Drawing Leader, or Section Managers nominee.

Ø Report all potential and actual non-conformances to senior staff for review/action, such as deviations from tender, development, contract specification, or design rule

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree and above in mechanical engineering or similar
• 2D and/or 3D draughting capability.
• Order processing system capability.
• Computer literacy.
