We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Data Architect to join our Enhesa team

The Senior Data Architect collaborates with other expert talents to design, develop, maintain, and assist the data driven development of the Innovation team projects, by designing the data flow architecture, decide which cloud tools to use, configure and deploy data pipelines, databases, and data stream consumption to drive efficiency of content creation, improve our customer experience, and leverage data to create novel product offerings in combination with the artificial intelligence organization.

In addition to the required technical skills, the Senior Data Architect has great organizational and communication skills and understands the challenges relating to working with different languages.

The Senior Data Architect is expected to be open to learning how to best partner with his/her machine learning colleagues and be prepared to think creatively and apply novel techniques while solving business problems.


It this role, you will:


Be comfortable with novel problems; be willing to approach data questions with an experimental mindsetIdentify appropriate datasets and drive annotation, linkage, and data schema creation in concert with others developing machine learning techniquesDevelop (together with relevant expert talents) and maintain machine learning applications and products that rely on data backendsBe open minded and creative to solve problems via consolidation and ingestion of data coming from multiple organizations and sourcesTranslate and communicate technical concepts and solutions to different stakeholdersWhat to bring to the table: Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or related field.

At least three years of experience as an engineer; 5+ if highest education is a bachelor's degreeTechnical Skills:

Ability to analyze current innovation projects and design data architecture flows. This role involves selecting and implementing the appropriate Azure cloud data tools to optimize data storage, processing, and analytics.

Familiarity with streaming data (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)Experience with cloud systems and tools focused on Data Engineering (Azure preferable) like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks.

Understanding of data relevant technologies and programming languages (Elasticsearch, Redis, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Python, Docker, etc.)Knowledge of various data formats, their benefits and drawbacks, and when to use each one (JSON, CSV, Apache Arow, Parquet, etc.) Ability to write clean code using version control and code review practices to maintain and deploy data pipelines (GIT, CI/CD).Fluency in English is required, any additional language skills are an asset (like Portuguese)Any other core skills to bring to the team are a huge plus, such as experience administering cloud systems, aptitude in machine learning or data science, deploying serverless cloud technology, etc.

The job is a full-time position based in Lisbon, with flex hours and flex WFH possibilities.
