Junior Rental Property Manager

Junior Property Manager in our Lisbon office.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular site visits to properties within the portfolio to assess conditions, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with lease agreements and company standards.
  • Support the leasing process, such as presenting properties to potential tenants, carrying out tenant screenings, negotiating lease terms, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Address promptly tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests, and cooperate with maintenance staff or contractors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Work with senior property managers to create and execute property management plans, budgets, and strategies to optimize property performance and ROI.
  • Keep accurate and updated records of property-related documents, including leases, contracts, maintenance logs, and tenant communications.
  • Assist in performing market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, rental rates, and competitive properties in the market.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive tenant experience and efficient property operations.
  • Oversee service providers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Finance Department to ensure precise financial reporting, budget management, and adherence to financial regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to interact professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility in work schedule.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach suitable for a rapidly growing, startup environment.
  • Capability to coordinate and finalize numerous small tasks throughout the day.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
