The Integration Management Office (IMO) is part of the GTO M&A Integration group. The IMO supplies tools, templates, processes and other means of support to the teams working to integrate AcquiredCos into IQVIA.

The Project Manager, M&A Integrations is involved in all areas of integration, as a member of the Integration Management Office (IMO). The role is involved in the operational aspects of M&A Integration projects. They develop and maintain processes and tools to enable project teams to complete integration work in accordance with defined IMO policies and practices. They routinely seek improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of integrations at IQVIA.

The Project Manager, M&A Integrations reports directly to the IMO Lead. They work closely with other members of the GTO M&A Integration group, as well as all Integration Project Managers, Workstream Leads and other M&A Integration stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with the IMO Lead, all members of the GTO Acquisition Integration group and other key Acquisition Integration stakeholders to develop, implement and improve processes, tools and templates for integration teams.
  • Applies a LEAN customer mindset to all processes, tools and templates used to integrate AcquiredCos into IQVIA.
  • Organizes and maintains Smartsheet assets and the Deal Hub in SharePoint.
  • Monitors adoption of Smartsheet and SharePoint assets and adherence to IMO standards and offers additional support to improve adoption/adherence where needed.
  • Encourages feedback from all IMO customers and independently identifies areas needing improvement. Contributes to the scoping and prioritizing of potential improvements. Owns some improvements and oversees others.
  • Owns and maintains the IMO RACI, IMO How-To, IMO Smartsheet and all other IMO documentation to ensure continuity in service over time
  • Acts as first point of contact for technical support related to IMO Smartsheet and SharePoint tools.
  • Provides guidance and support to Integration teams for routine use of Smartsheet and SharePoint
  • Monitors integration project teams' progress and adherence to IMO standards using regular standard and ad-hoc QC checks, following up with task owners for remediation where needed.
  • Makes adjustments to the IMO's standard Smartsheet offering, including large- and small-scale changes, automations and workflows.
  • Owns the IMO's Smartsheet Archiving Workflows and runs regular Smartsheet maintenance checks and backups.
  • Partners with IQVIA and external Smartsheet Support where needed, to resolve technical issues or make improvements to the IMO's standard Smartsheet offering.
  • Configures a SharePoint Integration Team Site for each integration project.
  • Supports the IMO calendar and IMO communications.
  • Owns the IMO RACI and Comms Calendar.
  • Schedules and organizes agendas for key meetings with other project resources within and outside the organization.
  • Produces and distributes status and tracking reports for internal and external team members and senior management.
  • Drafts communications to internal stakeholders for the IMO Lead.
  • Owns the IMO Newsletter.
  • Prepares and presents project information at internal meetings.
  • Deputizes for the IMO Lead on bi-weekly Hypercare calls.
  • Maintains the Confidentiality Tracker to ensure tight controls on access to confidential information related to pre- and post-close deals.
  • Owns IMO Governance for selected GBUs/RBUs, Functions and Projects.
  • Regularly reviews Smartsheet assets for selected GBUs/RBUs, Functions and Projects, to ensure asset are being used as intended, and to identify specific or general issues that require escalation in order to be resolved.
  • Regularly reviews Steady State projects for tasks needing attention
  • Leads or participates in specific projects to support the GTO Acquisition Integration group, the IMO, or any individual AcquiredCo Integration project as needed.
  • Executes special projects under the direction of the IMO Lead in support of operational excellence

Experience , Knowledge & Education

  • Requires Bachelor's Degree.
  • Requires 3 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Requires intermediate level knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of a job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications
  • Smartsheet and SharePoint experience preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under limited direction
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline
