What role will you play?
We have lots of ideas about how to successfully drive digitalization in companies. For example, with open cloud platforms, highly developed security systems, and clever tools for developers.

- As a data scientist on an international team at Siemens, you will use advanced data analytics methods to support the company's digitalization efforts.
- You are part of an international data analytics team with diverse backgrounds, utilizing stateofart data analytics methods to accelerate Siemens internal digitalization.
- You build data models by extracting, transforming, and processing unstructured or structured data from large, disconnected datasets.
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, complex datasets
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business problems and identify opportunities for datadriven solutions
- Build and implement data models to support decision making and drive business growth
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
- Work on an agile mindset participating in code reviews, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the use of best practices in data science.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, cleaning, and analysis processes
We are looking for:
- A university degree in IT, Engineering, Economics or related
- Enthusiastic about data with excellent analytical skills and able to drive the use of data across business areas
- Strong customer focus, openminded, eager to learn and a real team player
- Good understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts as well as experience in building, deploying, and monitoring models in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Familiar with associated warehouses and tools (Snowflake, DBT) and SQL
- Programming skills in Python and/or R
- Familiar with agile working methods
- Very good command of English
