RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS

  • Help the Lease and Operate Reporting teams by:
  • Assist preparing the quarterly Management Reporting deliverables;
  • Lead the Budget and forecast processes for shore bases and departments allocated to you and track their actual performance vs forecast and budget;
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Financial sections of the quarterly reporting for the business segment Finance Director and Board of Management;
  • Analyze and challenge the actual performance of projects/vessels/shore bases and departments allocated to you and forecast their yearly performance;
  • Load data in the reporting software and review the reporting submission (by project, vessel, shore bases and department);
  • Follow the budget / forecast preparation in close relation with department/internal projects managers and business controllers;
  • Prepare a cashflow view of the departments under your responsibility;
  • Work closely with Accounting challenging Actual performance and smooth the closing process to remove material errors and ensure reporting accounts are well represented;
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across various levels of SBM and provide financial information for decisionmaking in a timely manner;
  • Contribute to the standardization and automation of current procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree in Economics, Business school or equivalent finance degree with strong focus on financial reporting;
  • Circa 5 years in an international audit firm and/or in a reporting position with an international environment;
  • IFRS knowledge (is a plus);
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal), other languages are a plus;
  • Proficiency in IT tools, especially Business Object, accounting tools and Excel;
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to handle data in an efficient way, demonstrating the ability to identify key business drivers;
  • Ability to automate analysis and specific procedures;
