THE ROLE


The Junior Supply Operations Specialist is responsible to support operational management of a stream of Packaging Supply Chain within Farfetch from end to end.

You'll be responsible to provide support from Customer Order taking to Controlling Stocks, Supplier Production, 3rd Party Logistics performance tracking and final Delivery.

Within this very unique and challenging role, your goal is to ensure a balanced, efficient and sustainable supply.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Control production planning, inventory planning, stock deployment and replenishment across the endtoend Supply Chain.
  • Support the preparation of Forecasts for Suppliers and 3rd Party Logistics.
  • Follow up and control the activities of 3rd Party Logistics providers, both for warehousing, picking and for shipping to our partners.
  • Manage the transactional aspects of the packaging Supply Chain, from Customer order taking to PO management and replenishment orders from our suppliers.
  • Participate in the Packaging related Supply Chain initiatives with focus on further improving our Network and making it more and more sustainable.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A professional with +2 years of professional experience in supply chain, ideally in material planning.
  • Have a BA or Master in economics, engineering, management or supply chain.
  • Proactive with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Experience with ERP is a plus.
  • Organised, professional, reliable and have a flexible attitude, with the ability to stay calm under pressure in difficult situations.
