The Role? The Operations Finance Business Partner will provide financial analysis and support for plant operations for our EIMEA Region manufacturing plant.

This is a critical role in finance with responsibility and involvement across a broad range of financial and management areas.

What will YOU do? 50% Operations Analysis and Support Provide value-added analysis of the details and provide summary level information to allow the Operations leadership teams to make informed and prudent business decisions to improve the financial performance of the business unitDeliver comprehensive analysis of the financial results of the plant following each reporting period to provide clarity about the status of the operations (what is going well, what is not going well, and why); comparisons relative to budget, prior year, forecast and previous period as appropriateUnderstand the impact of unusual items that skew the interpretation of the true financial performanceProvide clear and concise conclusions of the financial reviewOptimize financial results by proactively monitoring key trends and metrics and providing value-added analysis to improve performanceProvide data analysis for plant leadership team to assist in determining the root causes for metrics that are not meeting plan; collaborate with the leadership team to develop detailed countermeasuresProvide financial modeling support for all productivity initiatives and cost reductions and assist in the interpretation of their impact to the P&LDevelop financial models for specific situations and purposes to provide support for decision making35% Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning Support Evaluate operations performance to ensure consistency with business unit long-term strategic plan and the overall corporate strategy.

Identify and implement process efficiency opportunitiesEvaluate and provide analysis on the financial impact of capital expenditures. Provide guidance on best course of action amongst the options available.

Collaborate with the plant leadership teams to develop a quarterly financial forecast & annual budget for plant operations; focus on outlook accuracy and determining the most likely scenarioEnsure team understands where and how the plant is expected to improve, commit to hold self (along with plant manager) accountable to deliver the budget commitment.

Provide regular reviews of all critical initiatives that support achievement of the budget15% Day to day plant financial operations Partner with plant leaders to ensure an understanding of the financial impact of transactional activities and promote adherence to transactional disciplineIdentify root cause for any persistent variances and help design and implement needed process improvementsEnsure that all Financial Statements give a true and fair view of facilities costsEnsure understanding and compliance of HBF policies across the team and with relevant stakeholdersDevelop and ensure delivery of required management reports (e.g.

monthly outlooks, budgets) to support Business ManagementMinimum Requirements:
BA or BS degree required with strong background in finance/business management discipline.7+ years of experience in financial/business analysis.
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing operations finance concepts.
Ability to work effectively across multiple cultures.

Ability to work and communicate with all levels of management within the company including corporate FP&A, treasury, tax, and corporate business management (sales, technology, marketing, operations, sourcing, IT, legal and HR).Familiarity with ERP systems.

Highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Excel; solid proficiency in the other Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, Word, Access).Ability to work in a complex matrix structure.

Strong learning agility and decision-making skills. Willingness to challenge business partners.
Highly motivated and self-directed.
Some travel required, 5%-10%. Must be able to travel to manufacturing locations around the world.

Preferred Requirements:

MBA in finance/business managementExperience with SAPDemonstrated understanding of all elements of operations and supply chain finance: Cost accounting; FP&A; Variance analysis; Capital expenditure management and DCF analysis; Familiarity with fixed vs variable costs, volume impacts, and absorption; Inventory management.
