We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer (d/f/m) to strengthen our team In your role you will be responsible for these topics in particular:
Your role:
Conceptualize, Develop and Implement high-quality Software modules of a leading client-server capacity planning and timetabling system to serve our Train Operator customers and the public transportation industry Improve existing software modules, test and apply bug fixing methods Mentor and guide team members in software design and development best practices Based on your skills and experience an extensive range of tasks in either back end, architecture, full stack development or feature development in close collaboration with the customer will be at your disposal Build a lasting impact on our future software development within an international environment in times of new work challengesYour profile
Degree in Computer Engineering or similar Sound knowledge of software development methodologies, algorithms and data structures, design patterns, and architectures 5+ years of experience in professional software development Significant experience using C++ (preferably C++11 and above) Willingness to work with different programming languages Experience with database design and optimization (SQL, NoSQL) Experience with Docker, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools preferable Participate in building a supportive culture within the team, where ideas are openly shared and where listening and providing constructive feedback are part of the daily routine Passionate for learning, continuous improving and building new solutions with high positive impact on the environment and the society Able to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and objective way, to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both in spoken and written English Experience using agile methodologies Willingness to build up a new development site in an interdisciplinary team and international environmentWhat do we offer?
