Position:
Embedded Software Engineer for Automotive Infotainment Remote working policy: 100% remote, full-time contractor Fee: 50€ - 70€ per hour This is a remote position and we welcome applications from within the EU

Project description:
Our customer is growing a new team to spearhead a start-up project for a major German automotive brand. This team will be responsible for developing a Human-Machine Interface for a new Infotainment System.

You will work on building a complex software system that serves as a platform for innovative internet-based services and applications for the vehicle of the future.

You will be responsible for embedded software development focusing on infotainment solutions using Linux/Android-based software components. Including developing software functions starting with high-level design for embedded automotive ECUs.

What you will be doing:

analyze and expand existing software modules according to customer requirements
analyze and determine security requirements for systems/networks
Adhere to software requirements as part of an agile development approach
you will be working on varied, cross-functional tasks
you will be working in an international project teamQualifications You Need for this Job Several years of professional experience as an embedded software developerExperience in developing complex, embedded software, middleware and OSKnowledge of Agile SW Development Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE, CMMI)


Experience with C & C++ programmingLinux/Android HMI experience(desirable)A range of experience in audio/video, networks, cameras, sensors, graphics and/or low-level programming (desirable)have good knowledge of software integration and software testingGerman language(desirable)We Offer: 100% fully remote, work-from-home positionFlexible work hoursLong-term contractor contract - possible 2-3 years projectFull-time support from delivery and administration managersBudget fee of 50-70€ per hour This is a remote position and we welcome applications from within the EU.
