Join our summer internships program and you will be able to get that first experience that will help you to start defining your path.

Inside our
Space Segment division within the
on-board SW team:

  • Space RTOS

Software Debugger:
In this position it is proposed to develop RTOS in C and Java. You will have the chance to develop GUI in QT and scripting with python.

  • Upgrade for

Space Software Testing:
Strengthen the capacity of the on-board system developed by GMV with Gitlab in CI/CD. You will also have the chance to develop testing and validation in C and python language.

  • Explore the use of OSLC to implement a interoperability solution: You will use TASTE, a toolchain targeting heterogeneous software systems, using modelbased development; and Capella, a MBSE tool and method to design systems architecture.
  • Advance GUI for configuration of

Satellite Space Software:
You will have the chance to develop your knowledge in python programming and satellite and robotic configuration.

  • Auxiliar tools to test satlite software behaviour: You will have the chance to learn GUI Development in QT, scripting with Python and consolidate knowledge in AI with ChatGPT.
Also in the Space segment, our colleagues from
Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) are offering:

  • ESA's GODOT Tool: Download, set-up and configure ESA's GODOT tool to propagate and implement a shooting method for a trajectory around the Apophis asteroid.


Our
Navigation team in Portugal is well-known for its work in signal processing, holding in its team various skills and capacities in the generation, propagation and reception of GNSS signals.


This year, the opportunities are:

  • Low Earth Orbit based for complementary Positioning and Navigation capabilities in GNSS receivers: You will have the chance to develop the following skills: Signal processing, use of reference simulator, python programming language, project lifecycle and documentation writing skills.
  • Land Mobile Satellite propagation model ITU standard implementation: You will have the chance to learn about Signal propagation, develop your skills in python programming language, documentation and project lifecycle.
Out colleagues from Intelligent Transport Systems are becoming a reference in the
Automotive sector.

There are coming with this great opportunities:

  • Development of a realtime information collection: Including an analysis module for the identification of road danger zones. You will acquire knowledge of C-ITS ETSI G5 technologies, and learn how to represent information in GIS map format.
  • Collaboration in an R&D project on intelligent and collaborative urban mobility: Will be based on V2X communications with connected vehicles. You will integrate data from various sources and automate the generation of events and alerts.
In our
Defense area, working in Military and Aeronautics projects, you will find the following opportunities:

  • Automate penetration testing: Using a Reinforced Learning (RL) agent that learns to conduct tests and identify vulnerabilities based on past experience.
And last but not least, our colleagues from
Secure e-Solutions are offering:

  • Web portal that groups Cybersecurity data: And provides dashboards to help the team on their analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Create a proofofconcept for test automation in a web project: Gives support to the implementation of performancebased navigation and the optimization and rationalization of navigation infrastructure for a European entity.
