Role Overview

We are looking for:

  • Someone proactive and experienced in VAT to join our multicultural and diverse team at Solvay Lisbon.

We count on you for:

  • Manage VAT corrections
  • Check VAT invoice requirements;
  • Check and validate VAT treatment;
  • Support on the preparation and filing of VAT, Intrastat returns and EC-Sales Lists (Europe);
  • Support on VAT audits (internal and external);
  • Support on the reconciliation of VAT accounts

You can count on us for:

  • Provide initial training in VAT and SAP
  • Provide growth opportunities within the area

You will bring:

  • University degree in Accounting, Tax, Economics or Finance
  • Tax Specialization
  • Fluent in English (any other language would be a plus)
  • Customer orientation
  • Team spirit, proactivity
  • Good communication skills
