Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management Leadership: Lead cybersecurity incident responses, overseeing all aspects from identification to recovery. Manage incident documentation and resolutions comprehensively.
  • Advanced Threat Analysis: Conduct indepth analysis of threats, evaluating their impact on the organisation and staying abreast of the threat landscape and defense mechanisms.
  • Strategic Collaboration and Communication: Lead and coordinate with IT, network, and operations teams in responding to security incidents. Communicate effectively with various organisational levels and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Readiness and

Proactive Prevention:
Develop, update, and enforce incident response strategies and procedures. Initiate proactive threat hunting to identify and mitigate security risks.

  • Training and

Simulation Oversight:
Direct and participate in regular security training and simulation exercises to enhance the organisation's preparedness for cyberattacks.

  • Post-Incident Leadership and Analysis: Perform thorough postincident reviews, deriving insights to refine policies and procedures.
  • Advanced Tools and

Technology Utilization:
Utilize advanced security tools for incident detection and analysis. Stay informed on the latest security legislation, regulations, and vulnerabilities.

  • Team Building and Development: Responsible for establishing and expanding the Security Incident team in Porto. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring team members to ensure a robust and responsive security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Emergency Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in a Security Incident Response role, preferably in a leadership position within an IT or techfocused environment.
  • Expert knowledge of incident management and crisis response methodologies.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing diverse teams in highpressure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong problemsolving skills, adaptable in rapidly changing situations.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices in incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience in training and leading teams in incident response drills.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles applicable to incident management.
  • Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in crisis situations.
