THE ROLE
As our Procurement & Stock Associate Manager you will be responsible for managing Indie Campers' supply chain processes that guarantee the provisioning of all consumables, extras, equipments and spare parts to our Field Operations sites across Europe, North America and Oceania. Your goal is to maintain optimal stock levels to support operational activities, expand our network of suppliers, drive order automation and develop forecast capabilities.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Create a supply chain that ensures timely delivery of required stocks;
- Structure relationship with internal stakeholders to understand their stock needs and how to integrate it in our supply chain,
- Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse activities, and shipping, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers;
- Develop and manage the stocks budget to align with the company's financial objectives, actively monitor and control stock levels to ensure cost efficiency;
- Implement quality control measures for the shipment, receipt and storage of goods;
- Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency;
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of inventory operations;
- Lead supplier negotiation;
- Introduce continuous improvement methodologies to the purchasing and inventory operations;
- Drive systems development to manage stock levels, delivery times and shipping costs;
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, shipping costs and efficiency.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Business Management;
- 5 + years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Demand Planning functions;
- Experience in Automotive related industries (rent-a-car, fleet management / leasing company, or auto workshop experience) is a nice to have;
- Passion for the automotive or campervan industry.
- Good communication skills.
- Full English proficiency (mandatory).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
