Senior Accountant for Europe Team

Do you consider yourself a highly motivated professional and with a proven accountant background? Do you want to gain experience in a central department of a global technology company? As a Senior Accountant for Europe Team, you will be part of a highly skilled team and contribute to set the standards in the Accounting Services of our Shared Service Center.


As a Senior Accountant for Europe Team, you will support the processes within the Europe region team, ensuring quality and effectiveness, securing compliance, and providing accurate information and timely reporting.


In your new role you will:

  • Perform
    daily bank account allocation and reconciliation .

Process Journal Entries and Recurring Entries for monthly and quarterly closing.
-
Execute closing activities , both in IFRS and Local Gaap.

  • Prepare
    Legal Entity Reporting, Add Notes, Analytical Review, BS and IS Reconciliations .
  • Support
    audit queries .
  • Act in accordance with
    IFRS guidelines and IFX processes .
  • Perform
    fixed assets master data creation and maintenance .
  • Support
    closing and reporting activities , including depreciation run, problem solving and guidance.
  • Execute
    assets activation, disposal, impairments, intercompany transfers and other service requests, ensuring CIP (Construction in Progress) is monitored and reconciled.

Communicate with IFX business partners (Local FIN, Controlling, Central Departments, TAX, internal requestors, etc.).

You are a proactive person and enjoy generating value with your ideas and solutions.

As you are a fast learner often exploring unknown boundaries you weigh up opportunities and risks carefully to bring up feasible solutions, while maintaining high quality standards.

Your excellent communication skills allow you to quickly establish a successful cooperation and sustainable relationships with people across all levels of the organization.

Moreover, you are an enthusiastic person thrilled with the way how Accounting works in a multinational company.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent field of studies.
  • At least
    3 years of professional experience **, preferably in an international / Shared Service environment.
  • Knowhow in
    Microsoft Office tools , such as
    Excel and
    Outlook .
  • Knowledge of
    SAP Business One is a plus.
