Buyer Mro

The Spare Parts Buyer's primary function is to track the validation of new equipment (spare part list) as well as the follow-up of inherent administrative procedures and procedures.

Supplier management, supplier supply, price negotiation and contracts for the areas of Spare parts. Providing detailed data analysis and internal customer support. This position is Part of the Purchasing team and is located in Viana.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Verification of Spare parts list of new equipment and support in its validation;
• Manage the requests for purchase of spare parts and consumables requested by the internal customer;
• Manage the procedure to create new Spares codes and consumables;
• Ensure correct information regarding the documentation of Spares and consumables (Drawings and Technical Specifications);
• Conduct negotiations and vendor selection for spare parts and consumables.
• Create purchase orders for new materials in the Spares area;
• Organize and analyze the information necessary for the decision to create Schedule Agreements (SA) in Spares area (quotations, delivery conditions, pricing, stock and implementation of MRP);
• Optimize and / or implement cost reductions for product volumes;
• Optimize and / or implement studies for the negotiation of Rapel with suppliers;
• Manage / monitors the process for the delivery of first purchases (Spares) as well as their validation.
• Report on activities during weekly departmental meetings;
• Comply with the internal rules and regulations of the organization: Code of Ethics, schedules;
• Respect and comply with the rules of safety and cleanliness of the workstation.
• Respect and comply with the rules of environmental policy
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the environmental management system.
• Develop a culture characterized by good professional ethics and a process of involvement in the process among workers in all areas.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in related technical area preferred
• Master's in related technical area will ve valued
• Relevant experience in the area will be preferred
• Knowledge about industrial and mechanical area preferred
• Userfriendly computer skills
• Knowledge in SAP (preferred)
• Knowledge of English (preferred)
• Proficient in Portuguese
• Good communication skills
