Job Details

  • Kantar Worldpanel generates c$400m of revenue per annum across 5 regions. This role will support the Worldpanel CFO in analysing and understanding global revenue performance, support senior Commercial stakeholders and maintain the global revenue database (Zoho).
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting
  • Maintain the monthly revenue database, consolidate data submissions from 40 countries, reconcile to OneStream and upload into Zoho Analytics (BI and data analytics software).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Zoho to ensure stakeholders have effective and impactful access to revenue data. Recommend improvements in reporting and ways to visualise data.
  • Drive continuous improvement in management of revenue data and work closely with Global Reporting and Analytics team to evolve processes and tools.
  • Responsible for variance analysis of actual revenue results by country, client, product/solution vs latest forecast, prior year and historical trends.
  • Analyse client wins and losses and progress of annual contract renewal process.
  • Present/discuss the findings with the CFO in the monthly revenue results review meeting.
  • Follow up on queries and findings from variance analysis with the countries to gather comments to help with the monthly performance presentation.
  • Manage process for collating global pipeline data and work with regional Finance Directors and Director of Commercial Excellence to drive consistency in pipeline management and reporting.
  • FP&A
  • Assist Worldpanel Finance Controller in collating and analysing budget and forecast revenue submissions and loading data into Zoho.
  • Analyse revenue risks and opportunities using secured orderbook and pipeline data for fortnightly trading updates to Kantar Exec.
  • Prepare monthly summary by country of aged accrued revenue, debtors and unbilled provisions and share with regional finance teams highlighting and getting feedback on risk areas.
  • On a monthly basis, using Workday and OneStream data create and maintain revenue per head and departmental headcount reporting. Create regional cuts and share with regional finance and HR Business Partners. Use data to understand differences in commercial productivity.
  • Work closely with the CFO and regional finance teams to build a 3 year plan revenue model.
  • Business Partnering
  • Support Director of Commercial Excellence and Chief Commercial Officer in developing new pricing models for contracts and ad hoc work and tracking inflation uplifts in contract renewals process.
  • Support global rollout of CRM tools and ensure consistency of recording revenue and pipeline data.
  • Support Global Account team in setting and tracking revenue targets across the division.
  • Develop relationship with Finance Director of Europanel to understand revenue and funding position.
  • Support Chief Product Officer and CFO in development and tracking revenue upsides from MyWorldpanel.
  • Support Chief Product Officer and Expert Solutions leadership in development growth plans for advanced analytics products.
Role Requirements

  • Essential:
  • Education/Primary Qualification
  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • An accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Knowledge and Experience
  • Relevant experience working in a similar role within a GBS Organisation
  • FP&A
or Business Partnering experience

  • Special Skills
  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management
  • A proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
  • A strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel and manipulation of large datasets
  • A high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data
  • An ability to determine insightful observations from detail for management attention
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills
  • A flexible approach and open to change
  • Ability to be proactive within a fastpaced dynamic environment
  • Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end
  • Desirable:
  • Operated in complex environment with the same size and scale
  • Knowledge of key business process technologies, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
