Your RoleJoin the Embedded and Safety-Critical Systems technical unit to work on the next generation of highly connected embedded and real-time systems with substantial processing power handling intricate applications.
This technical unit at Capgemini Engineering focuses on providing tailored solutions to clients in all sectors, such as automotive and life sciences, enabling them to create innovative business prospects and enhanced user experiences.
We seek skilled DevOps engineers to join our DevEnv team in one of our embedded system projects. We need someone adept at maintaining an effective development environment for embedded software, encompassing CICD pipelines and related infrastructure.
Your Profile- Hands-on expertise in developing and managing development environments (including CICD) for embedded software and associated infrastructure.
- Proficient in Python (including OOP).
- Proven track record in setting up CICD pipelines with Jenkins for continuous firmware testing in the real product hardware or equivalent target.
- Familiarity with Linux and Git.
- Sound understanding of C / C++ and relevant tools for software project configuration (e.g., Cmake, Make, gcc, etc.).
- Experience in embedded systems development is a plus.
- Knowledge of provisioning tools like Ansible is beneficial.
- Understanding of k8s / Docker / containers is advantageous.
- Practical experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe).
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Inquisitive and proactive nature, eager to collaborate effectively with fellow engineers.
- Willingness to travel within the European Union for initial training.
