Areas of responsibility

  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Integration of userfacing elements developed by frontend developers with server side logic
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Integration of data storage solutions in AWS Cloud

Required skills and experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Python developer
  • Experience/knowledge of Python frameworks such as Pandas, Ray, Numba
  • Excellent knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST API
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multiprocess architecture
  • Basic understanding of frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Strong unit test and debugging skills
  • Proficient understanding of Gitlab

Would be a plus

  • Knowledge of numerical analytics and optimization techniques
