The Viator Engineering team is distributed across Europe and is responsible for We're looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join our fast-growing team in a hybrid working setup based out of the Lisbon TripAdvisor office.

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Viator's data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work
collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Viator's data stack includes Java, SQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Terraform, and runs on AWS. You don't need to have experience with everything listed but you do need to be hungry to learn.
What you will do Design and build Viator's data infrastructure including data pipelines, data
warehouses, and data martsDevelop and maintain scalable ETL processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needsLead and mentor data engineers on the teamEnsure data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline
