About this job


The BASES Line & Price practice runs industry leading simulated test market solutions to consult manufacturers and retailers on product innovation, assortment, pricing, promotion, and price pack architecture.


As a specialist you will discuss with our clients in Europe their business challenges in your area of expertise and design approaches on how to best address those, jumping between methodology expertise and business strategy.

Internally, you will partner with our commercial teams, data science and operations to make things happen.


A specialist is on top of industry trends and topics in their practice area; and applies knowledge not only client in discussions but also produces relevant thought leadership and drives knowledge in our commercial organization.


Responsibilities

  • Translate and execute global vision/strategy for the practice area in the European region
  • Team with Account Development to understand client business strategies and formulate a plan for client engagement
  • Own or support ADs in proposal development for relevant opportunities
  • Partner with customer success, data science and operations to effectively translate client/proposal requirements for relevant L&P projects and engagements
  • Drive profitable growth
  • Partner with commercial and product leadership for product updates or new product launches
  • Identify important thought leadership/metaanalytic topics that would help advance the practice

Qualifications / Skills

  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods
  • Experience either in revenue management roles at manufacturers or at suppliers/consultancies advising manufacturers on revenue management, pricing, and assortments
  • A strong technical understanding of consumer research, pricing modelling, and marketing mix modelling and / or volumetric forecasting is beneficial
  • Comfortable in both worlds: you enjoy connecting with people, and you are a compelling speaker. At the same time, you are comfortable to lead discussions on advanced modelling topics.
  • What requires your attention changes fast. You are quick on your feet and switch from strategic thinking to tactical action easily
