We have offices in Lisbon, Porto, Óbidos, Brussels, Madrid and Barcelona, and we are looking for 1 (one) Cloud Engineer-DevOps to work with us in Porto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
  • Review and maintaining cloud deployments in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensuring all cloud deployments are following the company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Understand the permanent customers needs and suggest the best solutions and technological options available in cloud environments.
  • Architect and plan migrations.
  • Continuous advice and support customers in application modernization processes.
Magic Beans will give you all specialized training and all tools so that you can develop your activity in a specialized way adapted to the business

Critical Components:

  • Strong Knowledge in Linux and Windows.
  • Strong Knowledge of virtual networks and general network management in AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud.
  • Familiar with containerization tools and understand Docker or Kubernetes in AWS/Azure/CGP environments.
  • Expertise in DevOps and CI/CD implementation.
  • Expertise in scripting and programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Shell, Bash or Java.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement automation infrastructure solutions.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Experience with cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor ́s or Master ́s degree in Computer Science, or related fields.

Work Experience:
Between 1 years to 2 years of professional experience as an IT Engineer/ Cloud Engineer.

Certification:
AWS, Azure or GCP Associate Level Certification (should have); HashiCorp Certified- Terraform Associate (nice to have).

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge in Spanish, French and/or Dutch is a plus.
