Full-timeCompany DescriptionWe're looking for an awesomeSenior Fluidics Engineer | BioPhotonics | Optofluidicsto join our team on our journey to revolutionize personalized medicine About your Role / What will you be doing?Help us to develop our technology by combining an advanced photonics platform, data science, and ML algorithms to extract biological fingerprints from optical signals.

Design, fabricate, implement and validate optical sensing approaches to further enhance our photonics platform technologyProvide insights towards improving our platform and interacting with the rest of the company teams to that end.

Be up to date with the state of the art in optically based biosensing approaches for biological fingerprint generationPlan and execute scientific communication strategies through peer-reviewed research, review articles, and presentations at national and international conferences.

Work with our Product team to assist in validating functional requirements and value generation for our customers.
Work with our Regulatory affairs team to ensure our product hits the highest quality standards.

Job DescriptionRequirements:


Be passionate about the application of photonics in healthcareAppropriate track record in nanofabrication with experience in on-device fluid and/or gas handling a plusProven ability in the development and application of photonics devices, protocols, data acquisition, analysis, and data interpretationExperience working with biological samples in liquid formGood understanding of light-matter interaction in biological samplesBe a problem solver, proactive thinker, and a team player that enjoys facing challenges.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directionsProven track record of disseminating your research among peers and stakeholders at different levels, including conferences and journal articles.

Be fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills.

QualificationsAdvanced degree in nanoscience, physical chemistry, biophotonics, biomedicalengineering, physics, optics, or a related discipline with at least 4 years researchexperience (academic and/or industry).Additional InformationiLoF in a nutshellAs personalized medicine becomes the norm, scientists, patients, and healthcare systems worldwide face massive barriers in providing the right treatment to the right patient.
