The Graduate Engineer Development Scheme (GEDS) is our renowned two-year graduate training program, designed and supported by experts in engineering and other key functions. Graduates play a significant role in advancing our engineering capabilities.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will be initially assigned to one of our Engineering Departments. This scheme involves a mix of on-the-job and off-the-job training, exposing graduates to various engineering experiences and project execution elements, from detailed design to offshore work. We focus on developing both generalists and specialists within our company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various engineering activities under supervision, such as supporting the Drawing Office, design calculations, analysis, reports, specifications, procedures, and more.
  • Develop knowledge in different engineering disciplines and stay updated on design codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Address design problems, understand client needs, and contribute to developing effective solutions.
  • Participate in meetings and correspondences with clients, subcontractors, and other parties.
  • Work towards achieving professional development objectives and adhere to safety guidelines and legal requirements.
  • Embrace Subsea7 values and follow the Business Management System and best work practices.

Your Profile:

  • Engineering degree or M.Sc. Degree in Mechanical, Marine/Ocean, Offshore, Civil, Aerospace, Materials, or Physics Engineering.
  • Up to 2 years of work experience.
  • Qualities and skills desired include a keen interest in the Energy business, professionalism, technical ability, adaptability to changes, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
