MISSION


Ensure the execution of corrective and preventive maintenance tasks of equipment, infrastructure and buildings (EIBs), in order to maintain its good functioning.


MAIN ATTRIBUTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proceed with the daily start of the infrastructure, making it available according to schedule for its users;
  • Execute corrective maintenance actions on equipment, infrastructure and buildings (EIBs), ensuring an effective repairing, minimizing downtimes, ensuring that the intervened EIB operates according to the technical specifics, registering in the adequate forms and namely logbooks the executed actions on the EIBs with GMP impact;
  • Execute preventive maintenance actions and other constants in the calibration and verification plan, as schedule, of EIBs, respecting the existing documentation and ensuring the planned intervention timings, registering proof of the executed actions in the existing MRP systems, logbook, among others;
  • Perform and participate in tasks related to the installation, calibration and qualification of EIBs;
  • When required, support the Production in the preparation of equipment (change of formats and start preparations);
  • Comply with the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Policies and Standards and Procedures and participate in the identification of hazards and risk evaluation, ensuring the compliance with applicable the legal requirements and norms;
  • Propose changes/improvements to procedures/activities/steps in the preventive maintenance plan making it more effective;
  • Propose, and implement whenever possible, after approval, improvements on the EIBs, following the management procedure for existing improvements;
  • Whenever necessary, accompany providers during technical visits to BIAL;
  • Comply with the legislations, regulations and procedures applicable to the activities and to the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Collaborate in all department activities as needed.

PREFERENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND FACTORS

  • University degree (field of electrotechnical, mechanics or mechatronics);
  • Operational experience in the industrial maintenance;
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Ease with communication and interpersonal relationships;
  • Domain in computer skills;
  • Experience in similar role (preferred);
  • Degree in Electrotechnics Engineering, Mechanics, Management or Industrial Engineering (preferred);
  • Operational experience with equipment, infrastructure and buildings (preventive and corrective maintenance) with versatility on electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanics (preferred).
