Process Integration Engineer

As a Process Integration Engineer, you will have a key role in the realization of a high-volume production line at our cutting-edge facility in Porto. You will undergo comprehensive training located in Germany for up to 1 year, offering you a valuable experience. Upon finishing the program, you will be crucial in supporting our package and product development for automotive application.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Support package and product development for automotive applications
    • Understand the manufacturing line and manage interactions between process units
    • Define, track, and analyze design of experiments (DoEs)
    • Utilize state-of-the-art detection methods such as x-ray or ultrasonic
    • Manage large data sets with appropriate IT tools to draw accurate conclusions
    • Coordinate and define the prototyping process
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from areas like process development, concept, or application engineering
    • Analyze deviations or yield detractors and implement effective containment or corrective actions
    • Lead small teams to promote change and improvement

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A master's degree in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, or microsystems engineering, material science, or physics - holding a Ph.D. would be advantageous
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical environment, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Familiarity with semiconductors and backend assembling processes is a plus
  • A structured and goal-oriented work ethic
  • Strong team spirit with international collaboration skills
  • Willingness to undergo a 1-year training assignment in Germany
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory), German knowledge is beneficial
