Job Description

Team Presentation and Main Goal:

The Loan Trading Support team is responsible for the post-trade processing of loan trading and asset accommodation trades.

Loan Trading, from a Front Office perspective, involves buying and/or selling participations in financing operations, on the primary or secondary market.

Main Tasks and Goals:

Being a Loan Trading Officer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing buy and sell trades conducted by the Front Office, which includes analyzing the legal documentation of the underlying financing operations and generating the necessary Transfer documents;
  • Monitoring the buy / sell process: compliance controls, loan amounts and fees computation, waiver analysis, original document management, and relationship management with clients;
  • Recording trades in Natixis loan management tool, managing cashflows, and monitoring cashbreaks;
  • Validating transactions;
  • Maintaining daily communication with clients, Front Office, and internal teams;
  • Investigating and handling queries.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Economics, Management, or Law;
  • Experience in Financing Operations (1 year);
  • Background in Banking environment (1-3 years);
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets Post-trade (1 year);
  • Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft 365;
  • Proficiency in LoanIQ tool;
  • Experience with Payments;
  • Basic understanding of Accounting;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and French (desired).

  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to control and risk management;
  • Demonstrating ownership and accountability;
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in interacting with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Being a team player.
