What you will be doing :

We are looking for a driven, talented Frontend Engineer with knowledge in Frontend Tech Stack to help us build our SaaS-based anti-money laundering solutions, which empower organizations to fight Financial crime We are building cutting-edge solutions that help create a safer world and stop money from ending up in the hands of criminals.

As a Frontend Engineer, you will:

  • Either
    • Work on client facing UI components that enable compliance officers in financial organizations to screen customers and monitor compliance risks
    • Or work on internal UIs and browser extensions that interact with LLMs and other leading tech for the human in the loop processes that help grow our knowledge graph.
  • Work closely with back end SWEs to deliver features that span the stack.
  • Participate in the design of our micro-frontend applications, ensuring they are performant, maintainable, and high-quality.
  • Engage with team ceremonies, contributing to conversations and decision making, advocating for good engineering practice and real impact.

Our Tech Stack:

  • Our technology stack is designed to run on public cloud architectures, notably AWS and GCP (primarily)
  • We use Python and Kotlin in the backend and TypeScript, ES6, and React in the frontend and may employ low code tools where it increases efficiency
  • We make substantial use of relational database technologies, notably Postgres, large-scale noSQL technologies such as Cassandra, as well as Spark and cloud-based object stores for big data processing
  • We also use an event-sourced model powered by Kafka for our communication bus and gRPC for our intra-service communication protocol
  • Our data and AI teams use a wide range of machine learning libraries, large-scale hybrid columnar

About you:

As a Frontend Engineer, you should have:

  • Proven experience in front end development with proficiency in Typescript and React.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with popular testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
  • Engages actively in team discussions, bringing valuable insights and contributing constructively.
  • Willingness to share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Comfortable taking on diverse responsibilities and contributing to various aspects of project development.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience writing e2e tests and with frameworks such as Cypress.
  • Experience with tools, such as:
    • Chromatic for visual regression testing.
