Our Procurement & Contract Management Department is looking for a O&M PV Contract Manager, who will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support Sales Manager during contract negotiation on deliberating, creating, analysing, and negotiating commercial contract terms;
  • Troubleshoot contractrelated problems and minimize or eliminate risk factors related to the contractual relationship;
  • Assist with the Voltalia's compliance with mandatory standards;
  • Reviewing and sharing redlines between both parties, while managing draft versions;
  • Facilitating legal and commercial discussions around unresolved contract issues;
  • Preparing the summary of the contract, organizing internal meetings and present contract information to relevant parties, such as stakeholders in line with internal Contract Committee Policy;
  • Organizing and managing the process of validation, approval and signature; final document review regarding internal standard format requirements, initializing document, requesting the approvals from each internal stakeholder and sending finalized contract out for signature;
  • Support the Handover process from Sales to Operations for the implementation of the contract;
  • Managing the contract library; securely storing, organizing, and retrieving all contracts;
  • Support the O&M Managers on all contractual topics during the contract execution including contract understanding, communication to the external stakeholders and negotiation for resolution and contract amendments if needed;
  • Improve internal contract templates with Return of Experience;
  • Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering (legal background is also accepted);
  • Legal and/ or contract management training in implementation of international industrial projects is very much appreciated;
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a PV department working with O&M contract either on the Client side (IPP/Utilities) or Service Provider side;
  • Good knowledge of the energy sector, especially solar;
  • Knowledge of principles of O&M contracts, PV technology and conducting industrial projects;
  • Financial knowledge (P&L of a contract, income statement, billing and payment);
  • English proficiency (Portuguese/Spanish/French is a plus).

  • Very good coordination capabilities with the rest of the team;
  • Ability to synthesize and prioritize;
  • Good in negotiation and conflict resolution; creative in problem solving;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Resilient under stressful conditions and adverse environment;
