The Financial Process Optimization Specialist plays a crucial role within the Project & Process Improvement team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to support all transitions, promote a lean behavior, and drive the standardization and harmonization of financial processes across the organization.
Your day at Ferring- Collaborate with the Project & Process Improvement team to ensure smooth and successful transitions of financial processes into the Center of Excellence.
This includes understanding current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing standardized practices.- Assess existing financial processes and identify areas for standardization and harmonization.
Develop and document standardized procedures, templates, and guidelines to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance overall quality aligned with Target Operating Model (TOM).- Advocate and disseminate a lean mindset throughout the Center of Excellence.
Encourage continuous improvement, waste reduction, and the adoption of best practices.Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote lean methodologies and engage the operational team.- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, such as process owners, team leads, and cross-functional teams, to gather feedback, address concerns, and align on process harmonization initiatives.
Act as a point of contact for process-related queries and provide expert guidance and support.- Analyze process performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Leverage data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.- Maintain accurate documentation of standardized processes, guidelines, and best practices. Prepare regular reports and presentations on process harmonization progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for further enhancements.
Behind our innovation There's you- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.- Previous experience working in a shared service center or similar environment, both in project management and within operational teams.- In-depth knowledge of financial processes, such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts to Report (A2R), Order to Cash (OTC), etc.- Strong understanding of process standardization, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement concepts.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
