Job Description
Passionate about Apigee and eager to drive API innovation in the telecom industry?
We are seeking a skilled Lead Apigee Developer to join us and lead the design, development, and management of API infrastructure, specifically tailored to telecommunications.
- Lead the creation of secure and scalable APIs using Apigee for the telecom sector.
- Establish and uphold API design standards aligned with telco expertise.
- Guide junior Apigee developers, promoting knowledge sharing.
- Implement Apigee policies for telco security, authentication, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams for seamless Apigee integration.
- Review code for quality and compliance with telco standards.
- Stay updated on Apigee advancements and assess their relevance to telco needs.
- Troubleshoot complex Apigee issues in telco API environments.
- Create and maintain telco-specific Apigee documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of API-focused software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Hybrid, or X platform (3+ years).
- Proficiency in API design (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI Specs).
- Knowledge of security concepts like OAuth, OIDC, and telco-specific protocols.
- Experience in API security testing for telco APIs.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in team leadership and mentoring (a bonus).
- Familiarity with telecom network architecture and protocols (a plus).
