_st__ September / October 2023)_**
Objective of the traineeship:The main objective of the traineeship will be to support the local officer in the development of EU shared management funds and Recovery and Resilience Facility with a specific angle for PT and Spain in consideration of the local presence. This includes preparation of communication material/presentations, drafting summary documents and overviews to facilitate information exchange and review by involved counterparts and doing data research with overall aim to guarantee correct and timely exchange, coordination and drafting of required documents.

Responsibilities:


Under the supervision of the Head of Division and senior colleagues, you will actively participate in the Division's core activities.


Your main tasks will be:

  • Contribute to the drafting of communication material/presentations;
  • Prepare summaries, overviews, simple financial models especially on DFI cost coverage,
  • Cross check references and links on agreements and notes;
  • Perform support tasks (such as working on databases) as well as contributing to ad hoc research regarding legislation, policy documents etc.

Academic qualifications and professional skills:

  • Final year of studies or University degree in Finance, Law, Economics or related discipline.
  • A first experience in financial institution/ working with EU funds will be considered as an advantage.
  • Good to advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (in particular Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and / or French. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
