Service Now Business Analyst

We are now looking for a Service Now Business Analyst to join our team in Lisbon.

As a Service Now Business Analyst your main responsibilities would be:
Responsibilities - your mission

  • Design and Publish ServiceNow features according to business requirements and business operating model
  • Identify and propose new features based on new ServiceNow services (innovation) to deliver business value
  • Define, deliver and promote best practices ServiceNow platform standards and best practices
  • Promote automation, efficiency, machine learning and IA to increase business value
  • Working in small and selfsufficient multidisciplinary teams responsible for ServiceNow platform (developer, architect, software engineer, product owner, process owner, etc)
The role will be measured by the following business measures:

  • Business process efficiency and benefit realization
  • Key ServiceNow features and catalogue of service shared and used
  • Monthly user satisfaction measured and good

The role will have the following key outputs:

  • Propose efficient implementation of features (simple and quick) according to ServiceNow platform
  • Identify and propose new features and technology to anticipate and support business strategy
  • A comprehensive and world class software capability on ServiceNow platform especially CSM including ways of working, tools and center of excellence
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow platform with especially CSM, HR and ITSM
  • Strong experience of case management implementation
  • Knowledge on some of the following programming languages and concepts Java, XML, Python/Json, Javascript, , but also on Linux system
  • Proven track record working in Agile
  • Advanced level of English
Core Duties

  • Mission: Introduce ServiceNow as the workflow tool in Airbus Portugal GBS
  • Translate business processes into system requirements and/or development of systems solutions
  • Analyze new business requirements, assist with the feasibility of enhancement requests, system functionality, current system use, and user needs
  • Specify functional analysis and design and work with developers and analysts to recommend solutions and resolve system issues
  • Develop workflow documentation and translate requirements to user stories
  • Facilitate communications with stakeholders during sprint cycles particularly around testing and release dates and defect reporting
  • Define and document test scripts for user acceptance testing and coordinate user acceptance signoff
  • Perform testing of new ServiceNow development, upgrades, and patching
  • Analyze data and provide data sets to users for analysis. May include development of operational and analytical reports for endusers
  • May develop instructional materials, training and job aids in the form of Knowledge Base Articles
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and the latest ServiceNow features
Minimum Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree and five years relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow capabilities, business processes, and workflow including dashboarding with Performance Analytics
  • Proven experience in leading requirement workshops with business stakeholder
  • Problemsolving and criticalthinking skills, able to connect disparate data points to arrive at meaningful conclusions
  • An understanding of the software development lifecycle and knowledge of Agile/Scrum concepts
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts
