Job Description

We're looking for a top-notch DBA DevOps to be part of our team. Your main tasks will include managing current systems, working on migration projects, automating processes, enhancing system performance, and resolving issues. This role provides the opportunity to work in a diverse environment with a strong emphasis on utilizing the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, developers, architects, and managers from different locations for timely deliverables.
  • Implement DevOps practices focusing on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scalability.
  • Set up and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka and other data tools like Data Transformation/ETL.
  • Orchestrate systems with a keen eye on resilience and high availability.
  • Evaluate and deploy data technologies, tools, and utilities.
  • Analyze resource usage, growth trends, and plan infrastructure capacity.
  • Offer level 2 and, if needed, level 3 support for changes, requests, and incidents in production environments, including participation in on-call 24/7 support.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Kafka administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL language and optimizing performance.
  • Experience with different data engines focusing on resilience and high availability.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative, leadership, ownership, coordination, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • Great communication skills (written, oral, and listening), a team-oriented mindset, and strong motivation.
  • Proficiency in English (required); understanding of French is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of PLSQL and familiarity with Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (or similar non-relational databases).
  • Knowledge and practice with Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated willingness and drive to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Independence and critical-thinking with an emphasis on teamwork.
