About the Team
The CIB Strategy team assists the CIB Top Management in the steering of BNP Paribas CIB strategy along 3 missions:

Strategic Advisory (c. 15 people, including former consultants from firms such as BCG, Bain, A.T. Kearney, etc.):
supporting the definition of CIB strategic vision and the delivery of high-impact initiatives

Typical assignments include:

  • Strategic roadmaps (e.g. longterm CIB Strategic plan)
  • Business growth initiatives (e.g. market entry on new segment, cocreating offer with a key client)
  • Industrial and Digital transformation (e.g. platform strategies, digital vision)
  • Transversal initiatives within CIB or beyond (e.g. crossregion initiatives)
    Market Intelligence (c. 5 people)
:
providing insights to Top Management on market drivers and trends, peers strategy and business models, emerging new players and the bank's performance against peers

Development:
reviewing/running selected investment projects for CIB (e.g. fintechs, investment portfolios)

Your Main Activities Are

  • Contribute to the delivery of key strategic assignments of the team
  • Work on projects under the supervision of a senior team member: desk research, quantitative analysis, interviews and workshops, synthesis drawing, presentations to senior management
  • Contribute your personal insights to further the mission

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Clientdriven, teamplayer, strong communication skills, problemsolver, contentdriven
  • Student in MSc or MBA from a leading program
  • Fluent in English & French
  • Strong synthesis abilities, proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
